HeartBeat Technologies Overview

HeartBeat Technologies (HBT) is a medical application software company that has developed proprietary machine learning algorithms that generate hemodynamic parameters in real time. The companys software can be integrated into a variety of third-party wearable devices to measure various biometrics, including continuous blood pressure, cardiovascular indicators, hydration, and more. HBT has developed a product suite of mobile application software (MediBeat Pro, MediBeat, and Beatness) that receives data from sensors, off-the-shelf pulse oximeters, and wearable devices. The data is sent to the HBT server where machine learning technology analyzes the information and displays real-time advanced hemodynamic parameters. The solution records changes over time in hemodynamic parameters including heart rate, SpO2, continuous blood pressure, cardiac output, cardiac index, hydration, and more. It creates a graphical display of the changes in these parameters along with threshold indicators. Session and patient information is uploaded to a HIPAA and HL7 compliant server that offers a managed service to healthcare providers. The solution enables doctors, nurses, and individuals to monitor heart-related parameters and provide noninvasive care management.

Israeli firms to test health-care technology in Canada

Israeli companies HeartBeat Technologies and Brainsway will test their heart and brain health technologies in Canadian seniors care facilities. HeartBeat Technologies has developed software that allows remote monitoring of patients heart issues using wearable sensors and cloud-based software. Brainsway has developed a brain disorder treatment called Deep Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, which activates areas of the brain associated with depression and other disorders. The technologies will be tested at Saint Elizabeth Health Care and Baycrest Health Sciences in Toronto. The initiative is part of the Canada-Israel Collaboration Program, resulting from Ontarios economic mission to Israel in 2016.
