Eyal Waldman leads $2.5 million investment in fintech startup Hedgewiz CTech

Former Mellanox CEO Eyal Waldman and former Bezeq CEO Stella Handler have invested in Israeli fintech startup Hedgewiz. Hedgewiz has a system for foreign exchange transfers intended for the business market. The company raised $2.5 million in its latest round, with Waldman investing $500,000 for a 20% stake and Handler investing $150,000. The rest of the funding came from additional private investors. Hedgewiz has raised a total of $5 million since its inception. Waldman has become the largest investor in the company and has joined the board of Hedgewiz. Handler invested in the company because of its unique platform that provides a solution to market failure in money transfer between businesses in international markets.
