HiFund is part of HiCenter Group, which is a municipal company connecting the city’s infrastructure (industry, ports, hospitals and universities) to promote startups as the growth engine of the city. As part of this framework, Hicenter group supports startups in their business and fundraising efforts, and provides them with direct financial incentives, through InVENTech (accelerating program) and the National Center for Blue Economy.

Dr. Ines Werner, a dermatologist and entrepreneur, has started investing in young startups as a private investor after completing a course with HiFund. HiFund is a platform for raising capital from private investors, also known as angels, and operates to promote startup companies in the innovation quarter in Haifa. The platform, which belongs to the Hysenter group, was established to maximize the chances of success of technological startups that will drive the economy of the city of Haifa by raising capital for companies operating in the city. Since completing the HiFund course, Dr. Werner has successfully integrated into the world of investing in startup companies.
