IN-VENTech, a program designed to promote the businesses of technology startups in Haifa, Israel, has seen significant growth since its inception two years ago. The program currently boasts 45 startups in various stages and sectors, which have raised approximately 250 million shekels and employ around 400 workers. The program is now opening registration for its fifth cycle, at the end of which 15 additional technological initiatives will be selected to join. The selected companies will receive a cash grant of approximately $100,000, rent subsidies for offices in the Haifa port area, food vouchers for company employees, business model consulting, connections to investors, partners and customers in Israel and abroad, and marketing support.

The IN-VENTech program, a joint initiative by the Haifa Municipality, Haifa Economic Corporation, and Hi Center, has successfully fostered the growth of 31 startups in Haifa, Israel. These startups have raised around 100 million shekels and employ over 250 people. The program is now opening registration for its fourth cycle, where 12 more technological initiatives will be selected to join. The chosen companies will receive a cash grant of around 100,000 dollars, rent subsidies for offices in Haifas Innovation Quarter, and various other benefits.

New startup center launched in Haifa
A new entrepreneurship center called IN-VENTech has been launched in Haifa with an investment of NIS 25 million over the next four years. The center aims to increase the number of Haifa-based technology companies and is supported by the Haifa Municipality and the Haifa Economic Corporation. Thirteen companies have been chosen for the first cohort at the center, focusing on smart cities, healthcare, and shipping. The program offers financial support, workspace, grants, business consultancy services, and assistance in raising finance. IN-VENTech does not require management fees or equity stakes from the participating companies. The participating companies are committed to basing their activities in Haifa for at least three years.
