Huawei paying top dollar for Israeli engineers
Despite being blacklisted by the US, Chinese tech giant Huaweis Israeli R&D center, Toga Networks, continues to grow and currently employs about 500 people. The center was not initially included in the blacklist, which allowed it to stock up on testing and development equipment. After being included in the blacklist, Toga was prevented from using popular software like MATLAB and some employees left the company. However, the center is now larger than ever and has 55 open positions. Huaweis Israeli development centers are of special importance to the company, especially due to the American sanctions.
