Keren Golan, a 46-year-old woman from Ramat Gan, Israel, has developed a system called DAWN (Diagnostic Assistance for Women by Network) to help women suffering from unexplained chronic pain. The system collects daily health data from users and sends it to their healthcare provider, improving understanding of the patients condition and increasing the likelihood of a correct diagnosis. The system is currently being implemented in two Israeli hospitals and negotiations are underway to introduce it to hospitals in the United States.
