Ichilov Hospital is launching a new innovation and medical entrepreneurship center in partnership with the Mixer workspace network. Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center (Ichilov) is opening a new IMED center to facilitate cooperation between start-up companies and medical experts. The center will be located on the hospitals 16th floor, adjacent to MIXER and the inVITA investment fund. The goal is to create a seamless environment for testing and developing new medical technologies. inVITA, along with other partners, is expected to raise $65 million for the project. Prof. Roni Gamzu, Israels previous coronavirus czar, will head the center. The center aims to lead medical innovation in Israel and address the health challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
