IntuView develops solutions for sentiment analysis, entity extraction, name matching, and idea mining in a variety of languages. The technology features a natural-language processing (NLP) platform as a standalone server and a cloud-based API. The companys flagship solution, IntuScan, is a semantic text-analytics platform that combines ontology-based technology with NLP algorithms to provide users with an automated understanding of unstructured text in a variety of languages. IntuScan spans a range of analytic tasks, including language and dialect identification, entity detection, and the discovery of sales opportunities in social media, providing both topic identification and categorization and an in-depth understanding of the texts inner meaning. IntuViews solutions are integrated into business intelligence systems, defense applications, homeland security, and commercial markets.

Israelis are doing thriving but discreet business with Gulf states

Israeli company IntuView, a deep data company engaged in scanning social media for terrorist threats, has been doing business with Arab countries that Israel doesnt have diplomatic relations with. The business ties are based on shared fears of an Iranian bomb, jihadi terror, popular insurgency, and an American retreat from the region. IntuViews founder, Shmuel Bar, received an email from a senior Saudi official inviting him to discuss a possible project involving combatting terrorism. The extent of Bars ties to Saudi Arabia came to light when a London think tank sought to disinvite him as a panelist at a conference attended by a Saudi official. Israel has had trade offices in the Gulf states since the 1990s and now has a diplomat stationed in Abu Dhabi. The business ties are based on discretion, with evidence of Israeli connections being put out of view when Arab customers visit Israeli companies.
