ASM Pacific Technology (ASMPT), a global supplier of hardware and software solutions for semiconductor and electronics manufacturing, has increased its investment in ioTech Group Ltd. ioTech, based in the UK with R&D in Israel, has been developing a disruptive continuous laser assisted deposition (C.L.A.D.) technology since 2016. The technology enables the further miniaturization of various applications in the electronics industry. ASMPT initially invested in ioTech in late 2019 and recently increased its investment along with another key investor, Henkel Adhesive Technologies. As part of the partnership, ioTech will deliver its first beta system to ASMPT.
