iSite Overview

iSite a personal space digitizer (PSD) for the construction industry. The PSD consists of an accurate camera and lidar-based 3D scanner for applications such as projecting architectural plans and 3D models (e.g., BIM models) using a mixed reality visor, communicating and transmitting digital data, controlling the workflow of a project in real time, identifying deviations between the executed job and the original plans, identifying conflicts between the working plans and the designated space, and identifying items and marking their exact location on the structure using artificial intelligence for easy, accurate, and quick installation. iSite was developed by iMeasure Ltd.

Israeli start-up iMeasure is developing a highly accurate measurement tool for the construction industry, based on computer vision technology. The company has completed a proof of concept and a detailed business plan, and is now seeking its first round of funding. The only investor so far is Professor Amnon Shaashua, founder of Mobileye. The companys product could be sold directly to end users, such as contractors or architects, or to large companies that would distribute the product to their field personnel.
