Jethro Data Overview
Jethro enables business intelligence users to analyze and visualize big data in real time. The companys SQL Acceleration Engine seamlessly integrates with BI tools such as Tableau or Qlik. Sandwiched between a BI tool and the data source, the SQL Acceleration Engine is an SQL processor that harnesses complete indexing and a columnar structure, empowering users with interactive BI on Hadoop and Amazon S3. Users can run fast SQL queries on Hadoop by giving it the performance of a real-time analytic database, powering interactive ad hoc requests, live dashboards, and reports. Jethros SQL engine works by automatically indexing data as it is written into Hadoop. Queries use indexes to access only the data users need instead of performing a full scan of the entire dataset, leading to a dramatic reduction in system resource requirements.
