JGive Overview
JGive is a nonprofit social startup focused on strengthening the culture of giving in Israel, increasing mutual responsibility in society, and encouraging everyone to engage in charity in any way they can. JGive.com features crowdfunding campaigns from more than 1,000 charities in over 15 different fields. Each charity is a certified nonprofit seeking to improve and shape Israeli society. As a non-profit, JGive understands how important every donation is to charitable organizations. Therefore, unlike other sites, JGive charges no fees or commissions, and every dollar from every donation goes to charity except for the credit card clearance fee that goes to the credit clearing company. In addition, JGive offers a special program in which companies can distribute give cards to their employees. Each card is loaded with money that can be used on JGive. Give cards represent a new vision of corporate responsibility, one in which employees are actively involved in choosing the direction of a corporations charity. All donations made on JGive are tax-deductible in Israel, the United States, and Canada.
