Keepod Overview
The Keepod OS is a personal computer on a USB stick. It runs on any USB drive, eliminating dependence on a single computer. By having the OS on a USB stick, the software is effectively separated from the hardware. Keepod runs a modified version of Android. The Keepod device is a very low-cost solution. It is easy to replace and ideal for situations wherein electronics could easily be damaged. Since the technology leaves no footprint on the host computer, user data is protected and personal information is never left behind. Keepod is marketed as a $7 solution for the 70% of the world population that lacks access to personal computers.
