VC firm announces first close of women's health fund - FemTech World

The NHS has appointed Dr Sue Mann as the first national clinical director for women’s health to implement the government’s Women’s Health Strategy and support the roll out of women’s health hubs across England. Toronto-based start-up MOLLI Surgical has launched a minimally invasive surgical tool, OncoPen, to improve outcomes for breast cancer patients. The Nottingham and Nottinghamshire local maternity and neonatal system will now use CardMedic, a digital app aimed at supporting staff caring for patients where there is a language barrier.
