Digital Horizon, a venture capital firm, plans to back up to eight start-ups this year through its $50m early stage fund. The firm also operates a $110m co-investment fund that can invest in later rounds of companies already backed by its early stage fund. Digital Horizon has invested in 32 companies across Europe, the US, and Asia. The firm is interested in fintech and B2B SaaS start-ups and focuses on solving hard problems in the industry. It also has a venture builder arm that acquires start-ups and develops them with their original founders. Digital Horizon is looking for start-ups with founders, teams, and a first big client. The firm aims to guide these start-ups to a proper Series A round and provides support in coding and building out the business.

Digital Horizon has launched a $200m-targeting second venture fund after providing 40% annual return to investors from Fund I. The new fund will focus on fintech and corporate software sectors. Digital Horizon particularly focuses on startups founded by immigrant entrepreneurs.
