Former US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin is opening an office in Tel Aviv for his investment fund Liberty Strategic. The fund will focus on making major investments in proven technology and business models with potential for growth, particularly in the areas of cybersecurity and fintech. Mnuchin expressed confidence in Israels tech sector and its ability to attract capital. The office in Tel Aviv will be led by former US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman.
