Lima develops a platform designed to reduce overproduction in the fashion industry by generating accurate product quantity predictions. The platform helps eliminate excess inventory, increase brand revenue, and reduce carbon emissions from overproduction. Lima aims to implement smart merchandise planning and address supply chain complexities and rising costs by manufacturing less and using smart distribution planning based on consumer needs. The core of Lima's technology is its AI-driven prediction model that analyzes consumer demand to optimize production and distribution. This technology integrates with existing supply chain systems to ensure precise manufacturing and distribution, reducing waste and increasing efficiency. Currently focused on the fashion industry, Lima is building its initial proof of concept with two design partners.
