The partnership aims to improve the care and treatment of people with hypertension and cardiovascular diseases by providing real-time measurements of continuous blood pressure readings to healthcare providers. The integration is expected to be completed in the first half of 2023, with a pilot project planned before launching commercially in the US remote patient monitoring market.

LiveMetric has received FDA 510(k) clearance for its watch-like blood pressure monitor, LiveOne. The device uses a sensor array to determine systolic and diastolic blood pressure and pulse rate. LiveMetric plans to make the LiveOne monitoring service available through health systems, insurers, and self-insured employers. The company aims to combat hypertension and cardiovascular diseases by providing personalized health information to patients and providers. Other companies, such as Aktiia and Omron Healthcare, have also developed blood pressure monitoring devices. Samsung and Apple are exploring blood pressure monitoring features for their smartwatches.
