Margan Overview
Margan Inc developed Quantitative Acoustic Emission (QAE) technology to provide nondestructive inspection (NDI) for a variety of applications. The companys acoustic emission detectors are placed every 10 to 12 feet along a pipe, where they can hear small flaws before they become major problems. Margan has introduced a number of inspection concepts and technologies that have changed the way various industries inspect their critical components and structures. With more than 170 installations of acoustic emission systems under its belt, Margan is one of the most experienced companies in online inspection and monitoring in the power industry.
