Mayfield raises $750 million across two funds
Mayfield Fund has raised $750 million across two new funds, Mayfield XVI and Mayfield Select II. Mayfield XVI will invest in early-stage companies, while Mayfield Select II will invest in later-stage rounds of breakout portfolio companies. The new Select fund will also have the ability to invest in growth-stage companies outside of its portfolio. Mayfield Fund has a history of successful exits and will continue to focus on areas such as biology as technology, human-centered artificial intelligence, chip design, the future of work, privacy and security, and next-generation consumer brands.

Mayfield has raised $525 million across two new funds
Venture capital firm Mayfield has raised $525 million across two new funds, including a $400 million early-stage firm and a $125 million fund that will be used to support those of its portfolio companies that gain traction and need later-stage funding. This is the first time in the firms history that it has raised a later-stage fund. The firm has previously raised 14 early-stage funds and used the capital to fund approximately 30 companies. Notable investments include Elastica, SolarCity, The Rubicon Project, and Lyft.

Mayfield raises $108M fund for investments in India
Mayfield Fund, a global venture capital firm, is set to announce the closing of a $108 million fund focused on investments in India. This fund is the second generation of Mayfields previous $111 million fund for India. Mayfield invests in early-stage Indian companies, particularly those focused on infrastructure, tech, and the middle class. The firm believes that tech-enabled infrastructure solutions and lifestyle and entertainment products for the consumer middle class have great potential in India. Additionally, Mayfield sees mobile companies targeting the 700 million mobile users and tech-enabled services as the future in India. Mayfield has a history of investing in over 530 companies, resulting in numerous IPOs and mergers and acquisitions.

Mayfield Fund Announces Closing of $365M Mayfield XIV
Mayfield Fund has announced the successful closing of Mayfield XIV, a $365 million venture capital fund aimed at early-stage IT companies. The fund will focus on companies leveraging mobile, cloud/SaaS, social, energytech, and big data. Despite being oversubscribed, the fund was kept at $365 million to maintain the focus on early-stage investing. The fund will be led by Navin Chaddha, along with directors Tim Chang, Robin Vasan, Rajeev Batra, and James Beck, Chief Operating Officer.

Mayfield raises $110 million India fund
Mayfield Fund has announced its first ever India-focused venture capital fund with a corpus of $110 million. The fund will provide expansion capital to companies in the consumer, infrastructure ancillary, and tech and tech-enabled sectors. Mayfield has already invested about $16-17 million in three companies from the new fund. The investment ticket size will be $5-15 million. Mayfield finished raising its thirteenth fund in September 2008, which is dedicated to investments in the US.
