Medallia Inc is a customer experience management company with a software-as-a-service application that enables companies to capture customer feedback everywhere the customer is, understand it in real-time, and deliver insights and action everywhere to improve their performance. Medallia has offices in Silicon Valley, New York, London, Paris, Hong Kong, Sydney, Buenos Aires, and Tel Aviv. In 2016, Medallia opened an R&D center on the basis of the acquisition of Kampyle, an Israeli software and website feedback analytics company.Their solution will help Medallia improve itsability to understand website users. In 2019, Medallia acquired CoolaData, an analytics solutions company, following the acquisition Cooladata has become a product in Medaliia called Journey Analytics.

Customer Experience Company Medallia to Acquire Customer Behavior Startup Cooladata

San Mateo-based company Medallia has agreed to acquire Cooladata, an Israel-based customer behavior analytics startup. The acquisition is in advanced talks and is expected to be for several dozens of millions of dollars. Cooladata develops a cloud-based platform that analyzes big data on online user behavior for the e-commerce and gaming industries. This acquisition follows a one-year collaboration between the two companies. Cooladata is the second Israel-based company to be acquired by Medallia, with the first being customer feedback startup Kampyle Ltd.
