The Israel-US Binational Industrial Research and Development Foundation (BIRD) is investing $7 million in eight Israeli-American projects across various hi-tech disciplines. Each project will receive conditional grants of up to $1 million to advance joint research ventures in areas such as autonomous vehicles, biotechnology, digital health, homeland security and nanotechnology.
