Individual approach to online learning, Israeli style
Mindojo, an online learning startup, has raised over $2 million for a platform that aims to revolutionize education. The platform, set to debut in early 2013, will allow individuals or companies to create online courses that adapt to each students needs and learning style. Mindojos previous product, Master GMAT, was a success and the company has inked an exclusive deal with The Economist to market the course. The new platform will enable content experts to develop courses in collaboration with experienced course developers and will have a built-in commerce module. Mindojo also envisions companies using the platform for in-house training. The funding round was led by US education investor Barry Fingerhut.

Private virtual tutor co Mindojo raises $2.2m
Private virtual tutor company Mindojo Ltd. has raised $2.2 million from US investor Barry Fingerhut. The company plans to use the financing to expedite the development of its platform, which will be launched next year. Mindojo has been offering GMAT tutorials online in 80 countries for two years at a price of $750 per user per year.
