Moneta Venture Capital raises $120 million for new fintech and insurtech fund | CTech
Moneta Venture Capital has completed the initial closing of its fourth fund, which is intended for investments in growth-stage fintech and insuretech companies. The new fund will manage approximately $120 million. Isracard, Israels largest payment company, is an anchor investor in the fund. Moneta has invested in over 30 ventures to date, including Railsbank, Panorays, TipRanks, Insurify, Rewire, Atidot, and Human API. The fourth fund will operate in the early growth stages, providing capital for expanding scale and growing revenues. The initial closing of the fund included most of Monetas existing investors from previous funds.

The firm operates three funds: Moneta-Seeds, with a volume of $20 million for early-stage investments; Moneta-Capital, with a volume of $80 million specializing in growth stages; and Moneta Seeds 2, with a volume of $50 million, which continues the activity of the first seed fund and specializes in establishing companies from the earliest stages. The company focuses on fintech and insurtech sectors. Over its six years of operation, the fund has invested in 20 companies.
