Apple Partners with Arab-Jewish Tech Incubator Moona
Apple has partnered with Moona, an Israel-based Arab-Jewish technology incubator, to establish an augmented reality innovation lab. The lab, called Moona, a Space for Change, will be located in the Galilee village Majd al-Kurum and will also offer educational programs for students. Moona will operate the lab, while Apples application development team in Israel will provide support and furnish the lab with computers and iPads. This partnership is part of Apples long-term strategic plan and roadmap in Israel, where the company currently employs around 900 people. Moona aims to connect communities through space and robotics technologies and expand the local tech labor pool by integrating different populations in the country.
