MTL 3D manufactures and develops automatic systems for high-performance inspections of turbine blade geometry. The company’s robotic systems are designed to carry out the automatic adaptive grinding of blade airfoil and edges based on pre- and post-grinding inspection and analysis with automatic loading and unloading of blades at all process stages. MTL’s robotic systems aim to replace manual grinding processes while significantly improving accuracy and efficiency. MTL’s robotic systems have been tested and qualified in both production floor and laboratory conditions.
