World's First Noninvasive Prostate Treatment Developed By Israel
Israeli startup NINA Medical has developed the worlds first noninvasive treatment for enlarged prostates. The treatment, called LOTUS-1, uses high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) to burn selected points inside the prostate. This new option eliminates the need for invasive surgery and offers potential applications in other medical fields. NINA Medical is currently conducting a preliminary clinical trial in Israel and is crowdfunding through the Pipelbiz platform.
