Nortex Technologies is the developer of Spot, a smart grid and advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) technology for energy, water, and gas management. Spot combines a smart metering solution with bidirectional mesh power line/LPWAN networks and a centralized, web-oriented metering data management (MDM) platform. Spot offers remote meter reading with errorless data and demand-side management (DSM) by using an incentive tariff structure, theft loss reduction, power-quality analysis, a prepayment STS mode for usage control, billing efficiency, and real-time end-consumer data support via web for usage management.
