Israel's Ben-Gurion University sparks innovation from within, launching deep-tech Oazis accelerator
Yazamut360, the entrepreneurship center of Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (BGU), has launched its Oazis Accelerator, a deep-tech focused accelerator program. The program aims to promote entrepreneurs from within the university and leverage BGUs technology and entrepreneurship advantages. The accelerator is powered by IBM Alpha Zone and managed by Michel Assayag, in collaboration with BGN Technologies. The Oazis demo day featured six startups from various fields. Participating startups will receive over a hundred thousand dollars worth of cloud space and access to IBMs network and customer list. The startups in the first batch of the accelerator include MirageDynamics, Panacea, NeuroHelp, Testory, Flanimus, and 3D-Green. The launch of the accelerator is expected to have a positive impact on Yazamut360s growth.
