Reservation Nation: How startup Ontopo is revolutionizing online restaurant booking | CTech

Ontopo, an Israeli restaurant reservation platform, has grown to dominate the market, working with 730 restaurants out of 1,300 in Israel where reservations can be made in advance. The company was founded by four brothers, Danny, Nir, Roni, and Tal Glikman. Ontopos business model is based on a monthly subscription fee paid by every restaurant that uses its system. The company has raised about $3 million from two groups of investors and is currently raising its third fundraising round at a value of $50 million. Ontopo recently launched an application that allows customers to perform a broad search using their culinary preferences.
