Orad to build 4 Negev solar power stations
Orad Ltd. has signed a NIS 100 million contract with Shikun & Binui to build four photovoltaic solar energy production plants in the Negev. Orad will also maintain and operate the plants for 10 years. The agreement includes financing the work from equity and credit from banks. ORAD, an Israeli company, showcased its latest version of the DROM Drone Defense System at the Israel Defense Exhibition. The system can detect and neutralize approaching drones, taking over their piloting abilities and landing them far from the operator. ORADs DROM system is mobile, easily deployed on land or at sea, and has an effective coverage range of 3.5 km. The system also comes with an RF Detection Unit to detect the presence of drones. ORAD has already sold the system to clients in several countries and is in talks with Israeli agencies interested in purchasing it.

Orad in talks to buy Solarpower
Orad Ltd. is in negotiations to acquire Solarpower, a privately owned company that designs, builds, and maintains solar power systems and initiates alternative energy projects in Israel. The completion of the deal is subject to various conditions, including financing consent and approval by the Antitrust Authority director general. Orad reported a NIS 14 million equity deficit in its last financial reports. The companys shareholders include CEO Ariel Adoram, Yitzhak Sultan, and Nir Peleg. Orad finished the first half of the year with improved revenue and a net profit of over NIS 3 million.
