Otipo, an Israeli startup, has developed a service that assists shift workers in choosing their colleagues, thereby increasing productivity. The company, founded in 2009, is currently in the midst of a $1.5 million funding round at a valuation of $5 million. The Otipo application allows shift workers to work with their friends, and provides managers with valuable information about the social circles within the organization. The company currently has about 60 paying customers, mostly networks and service providers in Israel, including restaurants, retail chains, telephone service centers, and security companies. Otipo also has its first customers in the US, New Zealand, Malta, and Germany.
