Ozzystory Overview

Ozzystory auto-matches special education content to a caregiver's students. The company is focusing on social stories in the form of small booklets (digital or hardcopy) illustrating situations and problems for children with autism and/or anxieties. The stories are designed to reduce anxiety from unfamiliar situations, help children understand social norms, improve social skills, and explain how to communicate with others.  Usually created by speech therapists, each story takes about three hours to compose. Each story is created from scratch, without any relation to the therapeutic market that is out there. Ozzystory increases social stories' reach by making them accessible to all, not just caregivers. The company also aids caregivers in making more stories for more children. With Ozzystory, users can find a story and personalize it within seconds.
