PayZen emerges from stealth with $5 million investment to provide affordable payment plans
San Francisco-based healthcare fintech company PayZen has raised $5 million in a funding round backed by Picus Capital, TWO39 Ventures, and others. The company, which offers patients zero-interest, fee-free payments and pays hospitals upfront for patient invoices, has also confirmed deals with Revenue Cycle Management vendor RMS and Vim, a digital health company. PayZens platform uses AI to help determine a patients ability to pay their costs, and integrates into any hospital system to help patients and administrators easily approve and schedule 0% interest payment plans online.
