Perforce buys Israeli software testing co Perfecto for $200m
US software company Perforce has acquired Israel software quality assurance and testing company Perfecto for $200 million. Perfecto is a cloud-platform for DevOps teams to achieve continuous testing and accelerate delivery of web, mobile & IoT apps. The acquisition is a disappointment compared to Perfectos previous valuation of $380 million. However, Perfecto CEO Eran Yaniv stated that the founders, investors, and employees are satisfied with the deal. Investors are expected to receive returns that double their investment. Perfecto will maintain its independent structure after the acquisition.
