Chinese fund buys Perflow Medical for $100m
Israeli medical device company Perflow Medical has been acquired by an unnamed Chinese private equity firm for approximately $100 million. Perflow Medical develops neurovascular treatments for hemorrhagic and ischemic strokes. The company was founded in 2014 and has raised $17 million to date. This is the second exit for CEO Danny Farin, who previously managed EON Surgical. Perflow Medicals innovative technology allows doctors to precisely control the diameter of the mesh and remove blood clots from the brains blood vessels. Their first device has received EU clearance but is awaiting FDA approval for the US market.

Perflow Medical has announced the successful clinical use of the Stream17 Dynamic Neuro-Thrombectomy Net, a device designed for neurovascular treatments.
