Israeli company, פיול פיק, has developed a mobile application that allows business owners to receive tax refunds on fuel purchases. The app uses artificial intelligence to track fuel consumption, driver verification, location, and mileage. The app eliminates the need for physical devices and manual reporting, saving businesses hundreds of shekels per year. פיול פיק has submitted a request to the tax authority for approval to use the app. The government recently mandated that business owners recognize fuel purchases for company vehicles as a business expense. The tax authority plans to enforce this requirement starting in November. פיול פיקs technology has already been successfully used in Colombia, serving over 4,600 business customers, 165,000 vehicles, and processing numerous fuel purchases.
