PolyMERit has developed a minimally invasive, self-reactive, multilayered medical device based on smart polymers for the treatment of bleeding, post-surgical infections, and seromas. Using nano-molecular design, the company creates polymer behavior and clinical solutions for surgeons in multiple disciplines. PolyMERit manages surgical wounds and infections on demand by stimuli response mechanisms imbedded in their medical devices, designed for laparoscopy, endoscopy, and endo-luminal applications.
