PRS Geo-Technologies Overview

PRS Geo-Technologies develops soil-stabilization and reinforcement technologies for roads, infrastructure, and landscapes. The company has developed Neoloy, which is used for base reinforcement of paved and unpaved roads and railways; earth stabilization and erosion control on slopes and channels; retaining walls; and geomembrane protection of reservoirs and landfills. The Neoloy geocells are expanded on site to form a honeycomb-like matrix and then filled with granular infill, topsoil, or recycled materials for long-term confinement and reinforcement. PRS-Neoweb is the only geocell made from Neoloy, a novel polymeric alloy. The alloy makes the product strong, stiff, and durable.

Markstone buys 40% of PRS Mediterranean for NIS 100m

Markstone Capital Partners has acquired a 40% stake in PRS Mediterranean, a geotechnical engineering firm, for NIS 100 million in cash. The deal will be executed in two stages, with Markstone initially purchasing 29% of the company for NIS 80 million. PRS Mediterranean manufactures an expandable, polyethylene honeycomb-like web used for soil stabilization. The product, called Presto Geoweb, is marketed under exclusive rights in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. The companys load-bearing solutions are used in various applications such as airports, railroad tracks, and storage facilities. The acquisition by Markstone Capital Partners is expected to contribute to the growth of PRS Mediterranean.
