RadSee Overview

RadSee is developing a high-performance radar system for the autonomous car market. RadSee’s radar is capable of generating true 4D imaging of the world in high resolution. Using existing off-the-shelf radar chips, the company’s 3D assembly and antennas, accompanied by RadSee algorithms, are designed to enable improved performance, range, resolution, sensitivity, and specificity. The RadSee platform scales to accommodate different autonomy levels (standard, premium, and LiDAR-like) that are easily integrated, enabling widespread adoption across the entire spectrum of current and future automotive requirements. RadSee’s technology is available for immediate integration into current ADAS design cycles as well as emerging autonomous vehicles.

RADA, a company that provides tactical military radar systems, has invested $3 million in RadSee, a Herzliya-based company that develops vehicle radar for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving. The investment, which gives RADA about 12% of the shares, is part of a surprising expansion strategy into new markets, including the automotive market. RadSee was founded in 2017 and is still in the development stage, with no commercial agreements reported so far.
