Cybersecurity firm Wiz has acquired Israeli startup Raftt, which has developed a cloud-based platform for creating and sharing development environments. The deal is estimated to be in the tens of millions of dollars. Raftt was established in 2020 and had previously raised $5 million. The acquisition will see between 10-20 Raftt employees join Wizs research and development teams in Israel. Wiz, which raised $300 million in a Series D funding round at a $10 billion valuation earlier this year, plans to integrate Raftts capabilities into its own and release a new product within a few months.

Israeli startup Raftt has raised $5 million in Seed funding for its cloud-based platform for creating and sharing development environments. The funding round was led by Aleph VC and Cardumen Capital, with participation from private investors including Ariel Maislos, Benny Schneider, Adi Sharabani, and Ariel Asraf. Raftts platform allows developers to eliminate setup and drift between environments and create unlimited environments for every need. The company, founded in 2021, currently serves mainly cybersecurity companies and startups. The funding will be used for product development and market penetration strategy.
