Redler Technologies Overview

Redler Technologies designs and manufactures advanced power electronics products, with a focus on motor controllers, circuit breakers, and electric pistons. Redler Technologies' motor controllers are designed for electric vehicles and other applications. The company's patented technology reduces the battery current when the vehicle is accelerating or climbing a hill. It implements either two motors or a single dual-winding motor, enabling a system redundancy that is also suitable for airborne applications. The company is developing a line of circuit breakers (direct current 24V28V) utilizing a patented technology that prevents damage to switch transistors under any short-circuit situation. The company is focused on replacing electromechanical circuit breakers with semiconductors. Redler Technologies is also developing an electric piston (linear actuator) with a number of built-in features including an accurate absolute-positioning encoder.

Virtual Forest, Redler Technologies awarded GITA grant to develop motor controllers for e-rickshaws

Indian electronics design company Virtual Forest and Israel-based Redler Technologies have been awarded a $4 million grant by the Global Innovation & Technology Alliance (GITA). The funding will be used to develop ASIL-certified EV motor controllers for light electric three wheelers or e-rickshaws. The grant is part of the India-Israel Industrial R&D and Technological Innovation Fund (I4F), a cooperation platform between the Department of Science and Technology (DST), government of India, and the Israel Innovation Authority (IIA), government of Israel. Virtual Forest, which supplies energy efficient motor controllers to IFB Appliances, Crompton and others, plans to achieve a gross manufacturing value of $25 million in FY24.
