ReHubX - Rethinking Rehabilitation Overview

ReHubX was created by ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran rehabilitation village, the largest and leading rehabilitation center in the Negev with the aim of promoting technologies and initiatives in the fields of disability and rehabilitation. The program provides a holistic support system in two Phases. Phase One provides wide range of services: • Mentors – dozens of mentors from Israel and abroad in variety of fields related to medicine, disability and rehabilitation. • Clinical advice – clinical advisory services from expert clinicians • Regulatory consultation services – advisory services targeting a variety of issues, specifically research regulations and government relations. • Lecture and workshop series • Accessibility to equipment, infrastructure, information and networking systems • Legal advocacy – support systems based on “start-up agreements” (pro-bono services, payment required only in instances of investment). Phase Two includes advanced assistance for entrepreneurs who display significant potential and are in need of advanced supportive systems including product testing and adaptation, funding sponsorship and more. Support in the second phase includes: • Clinical testing & examination of the product/service (subject to obtaining backing) – includes a number of advanced research services related to each stage of research – primary planning, formulating the concept, writing a protocol, obtaining ethical approval, recruiting and employing research assistants, and through to data processing and publishing of results. • Incorporation into ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran’s Design Partner program – the program provides entrepreneurs with assistance and guidance in product development and
