Renesas Completes Acquisition of Celeno
Renesas Electronics Corporation has completed the acquisition of Celeno Communications, a provider of Wi-Fi solutions, for approximately $315 million. The acquisition will enhance Renesas connectivity portfolio with the addition of Celenos Wi-Fi technologies and software expertise. Celenos design center in Israel and its R&D staff will also strengthen Renesas global engineering and software development talent base. Celeno will now operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Renesas.
