Renovai secures $3.7 million in funding in seed round
Israeli interior design startup Renovai has closed its seed round of $3.7 million. The round was led by Verstra Ventures and co-led by Temple & Webster. Renovai offers a virtual interior designer powered by visual artificial intelligence. The funding will be used to develop new products, optimize existing ones, and expand the team. Temple & Webster, an online retailer of furniture and homeware, went public in 2015 and is valued at $1 billion. The partnership with Renovai allows Temple & Webster to offer personalized shopping experiences. Verstra Ventures sees potential in Renovais ability to bridge the gap between design methodology and AI, creating new revenue opportunities for online retailers.
