Israel aids in development that can save lives on the battlefield
Noyad Biomed, in collaboration with Rambam Health Care Campus, has developed an innovative heating patch called Rescue Heat, designed to prevent hypothermia in wounded soldiers and civilians. The patch heats up to 42 degrees Celsius and maintains this temperature for eight hours, offering a more efficient heat transfer compared to existing methods. The product has successfully passed feasibility tests and has been delivered to the IDF for field testing. This development aims to improve recovery times and save lives by preventing the deterioration of injured individuals due to hypothermia. The technology is expected to be a significant advancement in trauma care, especially in battlefield conditions.
