Riverwood Capital buys Israeli AI pricing co Quicklizard

Quicklizard, an Israeli company based in Petah Tikva, is being acquired by US private equity firm Riverwood Capital for NIS 186 million, a 30% premium on its market price. The acquisition will result in Quicklizard delisting from the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) and becoming a fully-owned subsidiary of Riverwood. Quicklizard, which develops AI-powered pricing software, has seen its stock soar by 20% following the acquisition announcement, marking a 250% increase since May 2023. The company raised NIS 45.5 million in its IPO in February 2021 and has recently shown revenue growth despite previous losses.
