HotMat, a new foldable hotplate designed for observant Jewish consumers, provides fresh safety features and functionality. It is the first foldable hotplate on the market, making it ideal for travelers. HotMat offers four separate surfaces for heating food, two that get hot and two that get warm. It has been certified for Shabbat use by the Zomet Institute and safety-certified by TUV labs. The product aims to address the deficiencies of standard Shabbat hotplates, such as being heavy, bulky, and dangerous. HotMat retails for $129 and is newly available in the United States.
