Israeli cybersecurity startup SafeMind, which uses artificial intelligence to profile users based on their risk of being targeted by cyberattacks, has raised $1 million from the Innovation Authority and is in the midst of a seed funding round aiming to raise $5 million. The company, founded in June 2021, has developed a technology that identifies the human factor, which it says is responsible for 85%-95% of cyberattacks. SafeMinds system updates constantly to protect users from their own mistakes, including those they are unaware of. The company is currently focused on corporate customers, but plans to protect individual users from cybercrime threats and the harmful algorithms of tech giants.
