Samplfy Overview

Urine tests are routinely used to screen, diagnose, and monitor various health conditions. Women are usually required to take more tests than men due to conditions such as pregnancy, Urine Tract Infection (UTI) and Sex Transmitted Infection (STI). Despite this, the current urine collection method is extremely challenging and unfriendly to women as it requires urinating into a small cup or 2-4-liter container. This prevents women from obtaining a proper urine sample and results in false or missing results, repeated tests, and even incorrect treatments. Sampfly collection device is designed to enable women to conveniently and successfully collect urine and obtain a good quality urine sample. This leads to reliable test results and helps reduce the burden on medical staff, supply chains, and labs. Samplfy solution is in the fields of Medical Device and Digital Health. A patented solution composed of urine collectors for women and applications for digital detection and analysis of information. To gain successful engagement and a good sample quality, Samplfy single-use environment-friendly collectors allow women to urinate hands-free, in a regular fluent mode, and without contacting urine, obtain the urine sample in a sealed tube. To increase the reliability of the information on the sample, Samplfy enables patients and medical staff to digitally detect parameters such as Urine Output per time and urine substances. The reliable urine test results will help decrease the ~25% of invalid culture tests required for UTI diagnosis and of the ~10% that are false and currently lead to incorrect treatments. 24-hour urine collection tests required in high-risk pregnancies and kidney diseases will no longer suffer from low patient engagement that currently leads to ~ 40% uncompleted tests. Samplfy platform will provide broad innovative urine rapid results in its 2nd dev phase. Samplfy can be successfully used by seniors, people with disabilities or obesity and children.
